Mary graduated from Indiana University with a BS in education, and is teaching certified for the learning disabled, gifted and mentally retarded. She taught in the public school system before opening her own childcare center, Bright Beginnings in New Fairfield, CT.
Mary has followed her dream of having a safe place where children come to play, learn, and grow. She has fostered a career of knowledge, and commitment to the development of young children.

Sherry Workman

Sherry grew up in Corpus Christi, Texas. She graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a Kindergarten Endorsement and taught in public schools for two years. She was a work at home "mom" for two years and then started her own preschool and private school which grew from 20 children to 160 children enrolled at the beginning of the fourth year. Sherry set up and managed a child development center for Mercy Hospital of Laredo.
After moving to Austin, she set up a company which managed a state child care association and developed a credentialing program for directors in Texas and in Alabama. Sherry has been instrumental in bringing innovative programs to enhance early care and education training. She served as the Child Development Branch Executive of the YMCA of Austin with responsibilities for oversite of 13 afterschool sites and one preschool program. She also worked for a staffing company as the Director of Client Services, managing the sales staff and conducting the marketing activities of Evins Personnel Consultants.
Since 2000, Ms. Workman has been the Executive Director/CEO for the National Association of Child Care Professionals. She is an innovative and motivating leader, and a highly sought after speaker in the child care community.

Wendy McEarchern

Wendy is Executive Director of the Gulf Regional Childcare Management Agency, administering child care subsidy resources and training in Mobile, AL. Her 20 years experience also includes founding and directing a multi-site child care program, working as a consultant and instructor, and serving in leadership positions with numerous professional organizations on both state and national levels.

Lynnette McCarty

Lynnette is the Executive Director and Owner of Serendipity Children's Center in Tumwater, Washington. She purchased Serendipity Children's Center 14 years ago. Since then, her center has grown from 62 children to two centers now serving 155 children. Her dedication to the field of early care and education is evident.
Lynnette holds a BA in Business Administration and has been in child care management for the past 18 years. She began serving NACCP as a State Liaison for the State of Washington and moved to the Board of Directors four years ago.
Lynnette has served the youth of her community as drill team assistant coach for a local high school, Board Member for the Kids at Play theatre program, and currently serves as a Board Member for the Children's Hand's on Museum. The philosophy of others success is where she applies her energy.
Lynnette works with the state licenser providing assistance and guidance for new directors relating to childcare management issues. Lynnette is a State Training And Registry System (STARS) trainer for Administration and Professionalism in the state of Washington. She has trained nationally and inspires those who have dedicated their lives to early care and education. She believes that management skills are an important element toward providing superior care for the children of our nation.

Robin Stephenson, M.Ed. is President and CEO of Professional Early Education Associates. Ms. Stephenson’s professional experience includes serving in a variety positions in the field of early childhood education including preschool teacher, child care administrator and college professor. She provides leadership opportunities throughout the United States and internationally on the topics of early childhood education and women in leadership and has served on the board of directors for three national organizations.

Tere A. Holmes has been devoted to the field of Early Care and Education for nearly 30 years. She is a native Texan who earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Advertising and Marketing with emphasis in Spanish from Texas Tech University. Tere has served in many positions, including center director, district manager, regional manager and director of operations. Tere’s expertise is in the successful multi or single unit operation of early care and education programs. With knowledge of licensed programs both regionally and nationally, Tere is familiar with all aspects of program operation. With memberships in NACCP, NAEYC, and TLCCA, she presents annually at various National and State conferences, and is currently listed on the Texas Trainers Registry. Tere strives to bring her humor and passion for her profession to everything she does.

Dr. Craig Overmyer is Director of Coaching with Canterbury Group. Craig has worked with child care professionals to integrate RealTime Coaching into their management and culture. He has been a workshop leader at NACCP national conventions concerning leadership development and work-life health energy balance. Craig served as a Pastoral Counselor at St. Vincent Hospital for 15 years, is a member of the National Speakers Association, and is a contributing author in 4 books.

Sally Harris

Sally began her career as an Occupational Specialist/Career Counselor. Because of her strong training in team building, motivation and marketing, she utilized these skills to open Circle C Ranch Academy in 1986. Circle C serves the Tampa, FL area as a preschool, child care center and summer camp. Circle C Ranch Academy has achieved accreditation through the National Accreditation Commission for Early Care and Education Programs (NAC), which is sponsored by NACCP. Sally is a strong advocate for staff development and encourages each of her staff members to achieve their CDA certification or enroll in college courses. The staff of Circle C has trained with the High Scope Curriculum and Myers-Briggs Personality Profile System. Sally has worked to form Megan's Circle of Hope, a 501 (C) 3 organization to serve children with special needs. Sally's strengths are to bring out the talent of others and help them use those talents effectively. Before joining the NACCP Board of Directors, Sally served the organization as a Liaison for FL and Liaison Chair.
